Urgent: Mikki's Car and Home Towed Away

So it seems like I've been having a rough time of things year after year, week after week. A couple of years ago, I broke my collarbone and y'all helped me get my bike out from the tow yard.

updated goal: because of difficulties with the tow yard "Gary's Westside towing" I'm unable to get our home back. They said because it was private property that they don't have to release the vehicle or lower the price.

If I am unable to take them to court, I'll be using the funds to purchase a new living space for Misfit and myself.

I guess the tow yard doesn't care about the persons ability to pay or the fact their making people even more homeless than they already are.

We I spoke to a man over the phone he said there been through this before with other now homeless people

All I could think is how that doesn't make it ok!

Today, I'm begging for more help. I've been living in my car and yesterday morning, January 14th, 2025, it was towed. I was visiting a friend and parked at a business across the street. Well, they towed it and because it's private property, the city can't help with making them release it.

Every day it's in there, they are adding $100, and the first day I called, they told me it was $500 right off the bat.

It's going to progressively get harder and harder to retrieve.

My dog Misfit and I live in my car and everything I own is in it. I really need your help and fast before this tow yard, "Gary's Westside Towing" in Seattle, jacks up the price so high, it's more than the car would cost to replace!

Even if it's just a couple of dollars, it will go a long way.

Update as of Saturday January 18th 2025:

Day 1 $500 (Tuesday the 14th)

Day 2 +100 (15th)

Day 3 +100 (16th)

Day 4 +100 (17th)

Day 5 +100 (18th)

Day 6 +100(19th)

Day 7 +100(20th) this should be the day I can retrieve my car as long as we meet our goal.

Hotel +380

Food +60(Dog and people food)

Day 8 +280(100 for impound 180 for hotel)didn't know it was a holiday...

Day 9 +100

On top of this it takes up to 5 days for the money to deposit in my account for gofundme which adds another 500$ in storage fees.

There is a point where I think it might be better to just get our things and find a new home if the funds allow.

(There is an additional $100 "after hours fee however I couldn't get ahold of anyone when I tried to get it out early because they were closed when I called in the middle of the night.)
