Urgent Medical Support for me and my family

Hello,

My name is Sameh Jamil Hassan Bustan, and I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a plea for urgent help. I am a 42-year-old father living in Gaza City with my wife and three young children. Our lives were turned upside down when the deadly war struck our city, forcing us to flee for safety multiple times.

We faced unimaginable danger with each move, until we found ourselves seeking refuge in the crowded city of Rafah, living with a family we barely knew. In this cramped space, we struggled to provide even the most basic necessities like food and warmth for our children.

Amidst this turmoil, I received devastating news of my elder brother's martyrdom. Alone and overwhelmed, the weight of grief and uncertainty led to a heart attack that landed me in Nasser Medical Hospital in Khan Yunis. After seven days in intensive care, I was discharged due to a shortage of beds, with a recommendation for urgent treatment in Egypt.

My heart's efficiency is now at a mere 10% of normal, and I am plagued by severe pain and weakness in the heart muscle. Urgent surgery in Egypt is my only hope, but the cost is beyond our means. I am pleading for your support to raise €17,500 to arrange travel for my small family (€5,000 for each adult, €2,500 for each kid), cover the expenses of the life-saving operation, which amounts to €10,000 and cover the living expenses for the first 6 months as I lost my income and spent all my savings during these 5 months of war.

As a father, my greatest fear is leaving my children without a father figure. I cannot bear the thought of them growing up without me by their side. Your generous contribution, no matter how small, will make a world of difference in ensuring that I receive the medical treatment I desperately need.
