Urgent Medical Support for Baby Maddy

Getting a late-night phone call is always a heart-stopper, especially when it’s your son on the other end saying my sweet grandbaby, Maddy, is struggling to breathe. Tami rushed her to the hospital in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, where she was quickly transported by ambulance to Spokane, Washington. Her oxygen levels were dangerously low—near-death levels.

By the grace of God, Maddy is stable right now and under close monitoring.

When you’re in the middle of trying to save your baby’s life, the fear and emotions are overwhelming. And then the hospital tells you your child doesn’t have medical insurance. That financial fear piles on top of the heartache. As Maddy’s Yaya, my instinct is to help however I can, but this is one of those times when we can’t do it alone.

I know Casey and Tami are entirely focused on Maddy’s health right now, so I’m stepping in to ask for help. If you’re able, any support toward the hospital and ambulance bills would be a blessing. More than anything, please keep Maddy and our family in your thoughts and prayers.
