Hi everyone!

It’s really hard for my mom and me to post a GoFundMe for her, but less than a year ago, my mom paid out of pocket for her current medical air mattress, and it has already stopped working.

Being a quadriplegic with Multiple Sclerosis, she needs this mattress to keep her from getting pressure sores and to allow her to sleep comfortably. The mattress raises and lowers throughout the night to alleviate pressure points while she sleeps. As you can imagine, it is not exactly comfortable to sleep when you can’t switch positions yourself overnight.

Many of you may ask, “Why doesn’t insurance cover this?” We have tried to use her insurance to purchase one previously, and they only cover an overlay instead of a full mattress. In her condition, an overlay isn’t enough to provide her with what she needs.
