MOLLY AND ROBIN NEED YOUR HELP WITH THEIR URGENT MEDICAL NEEDS.
We are Pioneers for Animal Welfare Society (PAWS-Long Island) and we are raising money for two of our foster pets: Molly, a senior Yorkshire Terrier, and Robin, a 6-year-old domestic kitty. Both Molly and Robin require urgent medical care.
Molly's life has had many ups and downs. When she first came to us, she had experienced abuse by her prior owner and, to make matters worse, we found out later that the veterinarian who had been treating her was later arrested for abusing his pet patients. Molly was emotionally scarred by these experiences and while she has become stronger over the past few years with her foster parent, she has suddenly reverted to her prior behavior, is fearful once again, is not eating and has lost substantial weight. She requires immediate medical attention to bring her back to health.
Robin, likewise, came to us with a sad history. He was one of approximately 75 cats who were found in a hoarding situation. Many were deceased when found. We have been fostering him since his rescue, but he, like Molly, has had sudden extreme weight loss and needs urgent medical attention.
Our coffers have been heavily impacted due to the many pet saves we have undertaken this year. Because of this, we need to raise funds to get the urgent medical care both Molly and Robin badly need and are asking you, with your financial contribution, to help us help Molly and Robin. Every dollar contributed will go directly to their medical care.
Pioneers for Animal Welfare Society is a 100% all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) not for profit organization dedicated to animal welfare. We have been in existence since 1976 and we are one of the oldest Animal Rescue Groups on Long Island.
Please help us give Molly and Robin the medical attention they urgently require.
Thank you so much.
