I want to raise funds for medical expenses and travel expenses for our son, Ethan.

Ethan is the 3rd oldest of our seven children and is amazingly loving and kind. He has the best sense of humor and loves family and holidays. He still can't sleep on Christmas Eve because he's so excited for the next day, is the first person awake to start Thanksgiving cooking, and is the Easter Bunny every year for his younger siblings.

As some of you know, I took Ethan to the emergency room on Thursday when he started complaining of not being able to catch his breath. During that visit, it was determined that his lungs were filled with fluid and his heart was very enlarged. They suspected heart failure and transferred him to an Indianapolis hospital for confirmation and better care. Since we have been in Indy, we have learned that Ethan's heart is only beating at 10 percent and he is in full heart failure. We are here for as long as it takes to try and save his life, and that takes a toll on expenses, since my husband's FMLA is all unpaid and we depend on two incomes.
