Michael and Natalia would like to sincerely thank everyone for their support and prayers.

Since being admitted to the hospital in NY last Sunday, Natalia has undergone many tests and much bloodwork. On Monday last week a life-saving stent was put in to her biliary duct and since then her severe jaundice has been subsiding quickly. Her liver and kidney function are expected to return back to normal without any permanent damage. During the stent procedure, a biopsy of the mass on the pancreas was taken. The results of the biopsy have come back that the mass on the head of the pancreas is adenocarcinoma (pancreatic cancer), and based on these scans and testing that has been done, the doctor has concluded that the “innumerable nodules on the lungs” are cancer that has spread to the lungs.

Surgery under the current circumstances is not possible. The Dr told Michael and Natalia that surgery to remove the mass on the pancreas cannot be done until the cancer in the lungs is minimised and under control because the surgery would be very immune suppressing and incredibly taxing on the body and while recovering from the surgery the cancer would take off and spread rapidly throughout the body. The Dr said that to do such a surgery under present conditions would be criminal negligence.

Michael and Natalia are waiting for one more scan which will be done in a couple of days which will show whether the cancer has spread anywhere else and will give a more definitive picture of what is happening with the lungs. After the scan, Michael and Natalia are hoping to fly home to Colorado. They miss their baby boy very much and are looking forward to reuniting with him again. They plan on continuing natural treatments for Natalia‘s cancer at home.

Your continued prayers for Natalia‘s healing are still being requested. Michael and Natalia are confident that God will heal Natalia in His perfect time and in His perfect way and that soon their family will be restored and that Michael can return to ministry work.

In July of this year, Natalia McCaffrey began experiencing severe abdominal pain. The pain persisted for many days, after which an ultra sound and CT scan revealed a mass on the pancreas that is partially blocking her bile duct as well as “innumerable nodules on the lungs.” They were told there was a 56-89% chance that it was pancreatic cancer that had metastasized to Natalia’s lungs. To prevent further spread, Natalia refused a biopsy to confirm the diagnosis, but this assessment that this was pancreatic cancer was nevertheless agreed upon by 3 other physicians in the following days and weeks. Michael and Natalia were shocked as this diagnosis didn’t make sense for many reasons. Nevertheless, they immediately began aggressively implementing a wide variety of natural remedies they know to be great in assisting the body to expel impurities and re-establish right conditions in the system.

Michael was overwhelmed, as caring for their their 10 month old baby boy has consumed all his time and he has been unable to help his wife in the time of her greatest need. Upon sharing the news with Olaf and Jayne, they offered to come and help, to which Natalia and Michael were very grateful.

Shortly before Olaf and Jayne arrived in Colorado early September, Natalia started showing signs of jaundice. Olaf and Jayne were able to cook and help implement a variety of additional natural treatments and this continued daily for 6 weeks with many hours of prayer day and night for the Lord’s blessing, His leading and His help. The Lord made Himself known in many ways which they hope to share in more detail at a later time.

As the days went by, Natalia continued to grow more jaundiced as her eyes and skin turned yellow due to the inability of her body to drain the bile from the liver. This also greatly impaired the affect of many natural remedies and juices and teas due to her increasing difficulty digesting food and drinks. God impressed and led Olaf and Jayne to implement a new treatment which led to a new discovery. On September 29th Natalia started passing a variety of different kinds of parasites daily. So far they believe there have been 6 different varieties passed. They all sought the Lord earnestly to understand what it is that they are dealing with: cancer or a parasitic infection. They believe the Lord has led them to compelling evidence that what they are dealing with may not actually be cancer, but a very rare but very life threatening parasitic infection. The cystic mass blocking her bile duct is, they believe, very likely from a parasite that creates extremely toxic and poisonous cysts that can only be removed by surgery. If the cyst were ruptured or broken, research shows it causes anaphylactic shock and death.

Once they understood the problem was more of an acute medical emergency requiring surgical intervention, they began searching for experts in infectious disease that could possibly remove the cysts. All this was done with much prayer, and God closed every single attempt to find help. Looking far and wide for the specific kind of specialist this surgery would require, only one physician turned up—a specialist in New York City who has dealt with this very kind of parasite and also as it happens, is a world-renowned pancreatic cancer surgeon and an expert in biliary ducts and the liver. Once again, miraculously, the same day Michael called their office they were able to have an online consultation with the physician and he immediately knew what Natalia needed and the various risks and extreme complications of her specific case and this kind of parasite—and he understood the urgency and was willing to take on her case. As a specialist that has dealt with similar cases, He recognized it could very well be a parasitic infection but that further testing is needed to rule out the possibility of other contributing factors. The cystic mass is nevertheless life threatening, especially because of its location blocking Natalia’s bile duct, greatly increasing the bilirubin which leads to liver failure and death. In the recent days, Natalia has also began experiencing kidney pain and an enlarged liver, indicating the certainty of death without some immediate intervention. With much prayer, Olaf, Jayne, Michael and Natalia all agreed that this opportunity was the Lord’s leading.

This has been a very trying year for the McCaffrey’s and Natalia’s health has been committed to the Lord many times over the last three months in an anointing, church prayer, as well as all night prayer and fasting.

We are asking, if the Lord impresses you, to please help Michael and Natalia meet their personal medical expenses. Due to the very rare condition and extreme complexity of Natalia’s case, a specialist is needed, but the expenses are expected to be significant, potentially reaching around $250,000. All funds will be used to help the McCaffrey’s with travel, food, lodging, the surgery and all medical expenses related to this endeavor. If there are any funds beyond what is needed they will be contributed to Judgment Hour, to help them continue their ministry work. Especially Michael and Natalia are asking for your prayers for Natalia’s good and that through this trial God might be glorified in the way of His choosing. Natalia has had to face and make the most difficult choice of surrendering and entrusting her husband and brand new baby boy into the hands of God, and Michael has had to face and make the difficult choice to surrender the life of his wife to the Divine Physician. From day 1 to this day, they know and believe and have seen the Great Physician leading and guiding them, and though surgery is necessary, are trusting that the same God who has been leading them will direct the surgical instruments and their continued recovery at home as they resume the natural agencies God has given for the restoration of health.
