Dear friends and family,

I cannot believe I am writing this, but this morning my mother and I lost my father and her husband, Bobby. It still does not feel real. We truly believed we had more time, and now everything has changed in an instant.

Bobby fought hard, and we were holding on to hope. We were praying, making plans, believing he would come home. His passing was sudden and completely unexpected, and we are still trying to process how quickly our world stopped.

My mother has lost the love of her life, and I am devastated for her. She is in so much pain, and I honestly do not even know what to do to help her through this. Watching her grieve is breaking me. On top of that, there is the added weight of trying to put Bobby to rest and make decisions no one should have to make while barely holding ourselves together.

There was no time to prepare for what came next. We are asking for help raising six thousand dollars to cover Bobby’s funeral arrangements, to help make sure my mother has food and basic necessities during this time as she is barely able to eat, and to help with other immediate expenses that continue to come up after such a sudden loss.

Asking for help like this is incredibly hard, but we cannot do this alone. Any donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward honoring Bobby and supporting my mother through the first unbearable days without him.
