Living with diabetes has brought unexpected and serious challenges into my life. Recently, I developed major open wounds on my feet, and my doctors are deeply concerned about the risk of infection, spreading blisters, ulcers, gangrene, and MRSA. Every day is a struggle to manage the pain and prevent complications, and it’s become increasingly difficult to keep up with the medical care I need.
The costs of wound care supplies, medications, and transportation to my doctor have added up quickly. I am doing everything I can to stay on top of my health, but I need help to afford the essentials—bandages, isopropyl alcohol, and other medications that are critical for my recovery. Without these, my risk of serious infection grows, and it’s hard to stay hopeful.
Your support would mean the world to me. Not only am I fighting to heal, but I am also the sole caregiver for my brother, who has a traumatic brain injury and depends on me for everything. Thank you to everyone who is willing to help keep me going during this difficult time. Your kindness and generosity will make a real difference in both our lives.
