Raj is a beloved "community cat" who was left behind years ago by a former tenant to survive on his own. He's an 8 year old Tabby also known as Bacon by some residents in my apartment complex. I've known the fella for 4 years. It seems a miracle he's survived this long, but kind neighbors have looked after him over the years, including my friend Maria, a former resident.

Even after moving away several months ago, Maria has still returned every single night to feed and care for him, with the hope to adopt him.

This past week Raj disappeared for a couple days and showed up with signs of distress. He needs urgent veterinary care. With so many coyotes in the area, it’s not safe for him to remain outside while sick—not even one more day.

Maria decided NOW is the time to adopt Raj and give him the safe, loving life he deserves—but she needs help covering the cost of emergency medical care.
