Jazmin’s husband is in the hospital after a devastating horse accident. He broke his arm in a triple compound fracture, needs another surgery, and is now battling an infection. Medical care in Ecuador is limited, and to make things even harder, his employer is threatening to fire him if he doesn’t return to work immediately—even while he’s still in the hospital. Their family urgently needs $7,500 to cover the medical bills so he can heal and keep supporting his family.
Jazmin is one of the most extraordinary people I know. She grew up in one of the very orphanages OSSO supports in Cuenca, Ecuador, and has become an incredibly resilient, positive, and determined woman. Through her own hard work, she put herself through school and earned a master’s degree. Today, she and her husband are raising two children while working four jobs to make ends meet.
She pours her heart and soul into caring for the children in the orphanages and supporting the volunteers who travel from North America to serve them. Jazmin is the one who plans their weekly excursions, arranges transportation, coordinates with the orphanages, and supports the entire Cuenca program running with love and dedication. She has touched countless lives through her service, always giving everything she has to others.
Now, her family needs our help.
Because GoFundMe does not operate in Ecuador, I will receive the donations in my U.S. account and personally transfer 100% of the funds to Jazmin via Wise. I will share updates and proof of transfers so you can see your generosity reaching her family directly.
Even the smallest donation will make a life-changing difference for this hardworking family. If you can’t give, please consider sharing this fundraiser with others. Thank you for helping Jazmin and her family in this critical moment.
