My name is Jenn Miller. I am the mother of Lucas's girlfriend. I have come to know Lucas over time. Lucas is a teenage boy who is very loving, kind, and very very brave. He loves God with all His heart. When my daughter met him, she prayed for him and it was then he made the biggest decision of his life....to publically declare his love for Jesus and be baptized.

Lucas is in an incredibly harmful situation and needs immediate help. His mother cannot afford a lawyer and if we had the money to pay for the help he needs, we would give every last dollar.

In our efforts to help Lucas we have discovered a sick disease that is our system who declares they are there to help children that need it.

The high school Lucas attends has failed him after multiple reports to them including teachers that knew for months about the harm he was enduring. CPS failed him after multiple reports to them including photo evidence and witness. The police department failed him even after hearing from us and Lucas what he was enduring. It is despicable and I am thoroughly disgusted with people that claim to be protectors, yet leave a young boy in harm's way which includes not only physical harm, but emotional, mental, and spiritual.

I am asking for help to hire a lawyer to get him help. Despite my efforts, the justice system works against us in every way, meaning their offices send you everywhere and are clueless, the websites they hire are faulty and set up to make you fail so you then in turn must hire a lawyer.

We don't know where Lucas is or if he is even safe. His friends did not see him at school yesterday and everyone is concerned. His mother desperately wants him and he has begged repeatedly to go to her. As a joint conservatorship, she should have that right! Being held hostage, in isolation, no church, no youth group, not being allowed to work, or even speak to your girlfriend. No phone or means to speak to other people. THIS IS NOT OK! Please help us help Lucas.
