Hello my name is Josh, I'm 39 and recently I had a car accident that altered my job, my income and is in dire need to keep up with rent for just this month (June 2025). I had a job which required a car but then I was sandwiched in a crash between two cars and my vehicle overall was considered a total loss. With all of the issues it cost me my job and now I need to start over.
So with no job, making rent is gonna be an issue, and being born with Asperger syndrome, depression, ADHD and anxiety attacks are not helping especially when my mom Evelyn passed away on December 31st of last year, and now it's making everything worse for my mental state as I have been having massive anxiety attacks the last six months.
I owe $694 in back owed rent and they are gonna start the legal process of evicting me on June 23rd unless I can pay it on time I posted parts of the notice for proof. I tried many things like asking people like my family, but they can't do much, but it's understandable and I tried to pawn off various valuable items, but the estimate they're giving me it will not cover the cost. So I'm hoping you all have a heart and can help out, and can let me have breathing room for at least this month. 100% of the donations will only go to the rent (and possible fees) and that's all, and I will keep updating if anything changes. As for the car, it's not an issue for me right now, and I'm currently searching for a job, I've applied a few that suits my abilities, and I'm just waiting for at least an offer from them. All it matters is that I need keep a roof over my head for me and my two cats that keep me happy (that's Mochi in the photo).
I've always been good at keeping up with bills and rent, but a series of bad timing has stopped everything. And I feel this is the only thing left to do, and I know there's some good people out there that care and to me I feel grateful for that. Anything helps and it's something that will keep me going. If you can donate, thank you, if you can't it's fine just share this page for me that will also help.
Thank you for reading this and I'm just gonna keep fighting to survive, because my mom was always proud of me and I never give up.
