This is a Fundraiser to obtain legal services for Joshua Williams, a Ferguson Political Prisoner who was given a cruel unconscionable 8 -year sentence for arson charges that normally receive probation or 1 -year sentence. Despite already serving 7 years, new felony charges have just been issued to Josh in his final year in prison that threaten his release which is scheduled for later this year. These are charges for behavior inside prison, which Josh vehemently denies. His arraignment begins in early March and he has personally requested his need for a lawyer as soon as possible. The purpose of this GFM is to raise these critical initial funds as a first step to securing legal services so the system does not punish Josh more than it already has.
