Urgent Legal Aid Needed for Robert's Freedom & Justice

Update #2: His public defender lawyer has refused to do proper representation, not getting key evidence or fighting on robert's behalf. Robert has nerve damage, my homeless situation gets worse. Robert not only needs serious medical help but the lawyer's price tag are heft. Please help us

Update: Robert's health condition has gotten real bad since being in the jail house, his injuries and health issues are not receiving proper care. I have less than two weeks to get the funds together to help save his life and freedom.

Hi my name is Mina, On Feb 3rd Robert and I had just finished packing my old home in Florida. With a car fully loaded with our things, our dog blue and ready to start our lives together, what should have been a routine traffic stop turned into a nightmare, we quickly became aware we were dealing with racism and corruption.

After many antics from the law officials, our civil liberties violated and more we wee both arrested on fraudulent charges. I was able to get out after a week but Robert is still in there facing abuse both physical and mental. With evidence in my hand proving that what we had with us was all legal is public defender refuses to speak to me or help him accordingly.

On the first day with his hands handcuffed Robert was assaulted by 4 officials to which they potentially broke his leg and stomped on him. He was told welcome to the county that we are in. ( I am afraid to say the county for fear they will do worse) . Due to an nurse that came in recently it is discovered that Robert has severe damage to his nerves and disc in his neck, the nurse was not allow to check further. This check up is over a month after the incident. Since booking he has been denied medications on multiple occasions, his life has been threatened by officials, His has been bleeding for 3 weeks from his rectum and is now throwing up blood. the doctor a few days ago says if he doesn't get out to get proper treatment he will have irreversible damage.

Yesterday an official had just finished beating down an inmate with mental issues because he asked for bread. When that same official came to Robert , Robert expressed the doctor had placed him on a diet for his health issues the official went to strike Robert and thankfully another cellmate has intervened.

We discovered from the lawyer as well who only spoke to him once that they are trying to give him up to 15 years prison for legal 420 and a 3.5 inch fishing knife. The reasoning is because at 17 he made a very stupid mistake that cost him 15 years of his life in the prison system. He did his time, he suffered grave consequences for it and should not have to keep burning for his past. Robert has been doing all he can to change his mindset, to move his life in a more positive direction and rewrite his story for the better. He should not have to pay for someone's agenda.

The amount on the go fund me is because we need a real criminal defense attorney who is confident they can help him out of this and for the $13,000 in bail to get him out. I am running out of time and his life expectancy is growing shorter. The bail is so high because i do not have collateral in the state of Florida, If not i would have only be $1,300 for the bail.

Please I beseech you help me save his life, help me get him out. Robert deserves to rightfully have redemption. He deserves o not be labeled and put in a system simply because they feel like it. Robert is a husband, a son, a brother, a uncle and a friend with real feelings an real desires for a great life and to heal from his traumas of what he been through. Even it is $1 , that goes alone way because it adds up thank you .
