Urgent: Legal Aid for Our Friend Arrested in the UK

3 weeks ago, our friend traveled to the UK for work and was arrested. She has been held there since then awaiting trial. We are urgently raising funds for her to come home – as she is a Black, single mom and desperately needs to return to her family here in Los Angeles, CA. The fees will be going towards getting her legal representation and getting her home ASAP.

She wishes to remain anonymous both for her child’s sake and her own safety. We acknowledge it’s more difficult to give but again why we are all putting our names on here to vouch for her. And can publish more details as the case is ongoing. We are concerned friends that she reached out to and can answer any questions!
