Urgent Legal Aid for Laura and Quinn

Hi, my name is Jesi, and I’m creating this fundraiser for my best friend—an incredible mom who’s doing everything she can to keep her 2-year-old daughter, Quinn, safe and protected.

She is in the middle of a heartbreaking legal battle, with a court date set for May 14th. She was recently assaulted by her daughter’s father, and the aftermath has left her not only emotionally shaken but financially drained. Now, she’s being forced to represent herself in court—against a family with resources and legal backing—because she simply can’t afford an attorney.

I’ve watched Laura fight through fear and heartbreak with grace, putting her daughter first every step of the way. Quinn is her entire world, and every moment of this journey has been about protecting her peace and her future.

We’ve found a lawyer who believes in Laura’s case and is ready to help—but we need to raise $4,500 quickly to secure representation before her next hearing, and hopefully costs associated with it after. Without it, she will have to stand alone in a courtroom, trying to defend the most important relationship in her life—being Quinn’s mother.
