Hi! My name is Chaplin Tyler and I’m currently living in Los Angeles, California, where I moved a year and a half ago to start a new life for myself after having to leave Miami, Florida due to the anti trans legislation that was passing. A little over a year ago I entered a relationship with a man named Paul, who would ultimately affect the trajectory of my entire life forever. I realized only after having a restraining order granted against this individual in October of 2024, that not only did he sexually assault me, physically & emotionally abuse me, and threaten my life with gang related crime while we were together, all of which happened under the false pretenses that we were in a real relationship in which we were engaged to be married. But it was later revealed that he really entered my life because I was targeted. He stayed with me for the first 5 consecutive nights we met, and then remained at my apartment almost every day for 5 months. During this time he was using a hacking technique called MITM, to gain access to my passwords and accounts. I had thought it was because we were forming a strong bond and connection. What I realized soon after the order was granted, is how truly harrowing this story is. What happened to me, and the violence I continue to experience, is so multifaceted, disturbing, and complex, that it sounds like something out of a movie or crime show. Not only did this person enter my life intentionally, because I was targeted by one of the other handful of suspects involved in my case, but there were clear, premeditated, and calculated plans to sabotage my well being, steal my money, humiliate me, tarnish my reputation, sexually assault me, frame me, and end my life. I have submitted hundreds of documents, photographs, video clips, voice recordings, testimonies and various forms of other evidence, detailing the fact that this person, along with several others, sexually assaulted me, recorded it, and broadcasted it to the web. My bedroom was bugged with surveillance cameras that broadcasted me in the privacy of my own home, to the web and private group chats, for nearly an entire year. During this time-the same person hacked all of my smart devices, committed a criminal invasion of privacy, groomed me into believing that they loved and supported me, and convinced me that they were actively working on themselves to alleviate any toxic and abusive behaviors that they had..all the while, they were assaulting me repeatedly, and actively trying to destroy my reputation, plot and scheme against me, post revenge porn on various social media platforms, disconnect me from loved ones, poison my physical, mental, and emotional health, slander my name, and then discard me. There is evidence that not only shows that I was sexually assaulted, but that it was recorded and shared amongst other men who had done the same thing to me. This group of individuals which included my ex, would make remarks related to wanting revenge on their exes, they would insinuate that I was being broadcast to large groups of people, they would taunt me and mock the fact that I was being kept under surveillance, they would comment on who I had just been with sexually, what I was doing inside of my apartment, what color I was dyeing my hair, when I was at work, when I was at home, when I was sleeping. They listed details that were from my messages on apps to individuals, and because they were able to spy on my phone in real time, they coerced those that I did make plans with to violate me further, gain entry into my life by earning my trust, steal from me, record me, and made additional plans to hack into my accounts, tamper with evidence for my case, alter pages on my phone and computer, and hacked into my devices in such a sophisticated manner, that the pages and emails I had been accessing for Bank of America, Zelle. Venmo, Gmail, Google Drive, and many others were altered. Through using a hacking technique called MITM, Man in the Middle, this person gained, and still has, remote access over all of my devices. He was able to change the setting configurations of both my computer and iPhone, duplicated my SIM card which gave him the ability to send and receive messages and calls from my number, intercept all traffic, and essentially frame me for crimes I did not commit.

My calls, messages and emails have all been forwarded. This individual had gone through my phone, duplicated my SIM, had my network router password, and used MITM to steal my login credentials, bypass two factor verifications, and could see what I was doing live. They installed a smart TV in my home that was also compromised. Because of the interception of emails, many of my attempts to seek legal representation have been intercepted. I have had friends, family and colleagues comment on how my messages to them were delayed or sent to spam right away. Paul wanted to abuse me, and isolate me so that I wouldn’t have my support system. He had promised in writing to help me with rental payments for a year, proposed to me, asked me to move in, said he wanted kids and a family. All of it, was fake. And as insane as this story may sound, everything about what I’m saying, is very real, and fact. I have had my savings account depleted and the pages for my online banking were altered. I desperately need legal representation, I’ve received an eviction notice from my building. All of Paul’s explicit threats to me, are coming true. I desperately need help accessing basic needs, like food and housing. But I also am in desperate need of legal representation. I have done everything humanly possible with law enforcement. And now I really need support to help take care of myself. I have not been able to pay rent for three months and face eviction, I returned from a 5 week partially unpaid leave of absence only to still have all of my accounts compromised. And I have been unable to get the legal representation I need to combat his attorney. This man hunted me and targeted me, criminally invaded my privacy by broadcasting me in my bedroom for nearly a year, and is now attempting to frame me. The offenses have been physical, sexual, mental, and emotional and I desperately need help. I was also recently diagnosed with complex post traumatic stress disorder.
