Hi friends,

My name is Amy. I am a survivor of domestic violence, and I am doing everything in my power to protect my two young boys, ages 3 and 4. Both of my children have special needs, and they are survivors of abuse as well.

We are currently in a custody case, and our trial is less than 30 days away. Unfortunately, I no longer feel safe or confident with my court-appointed attorney. I truly believe my boys and I deserve legal representation that will fight for our safety, stability, and future, and time is not on our side.

The cost of hiring new legal counsel is overwhelming, especially under such urgent circumstances. I would never ask if it weren’t absolutely necessary, but I am reaching out for help so I can give my children the protection and advocacy they deserve.
