Urgent: Kristy Needs a Kidney Transplant

My name is Kristy and I’m a proud mom of twin boys (Caden and Kahne 17), a wife to Matt Brown from Metter, Georgia, and a passionate animal rescuer. I’ve dedicated much of my life to helping homeless animals find loving homes, and our own home is filled with the joy of our four dogs: Baylee (a spirited Dachshund), Chevy (our loyal Jack Russell), Chance (a sweet rescue Lab), and Gracie (our lovable rescue mix).

I love the simple beauty of small-town living—sunny days, dancing under the sky, and being with my family. But right now, I’m facing the hardest challenge of my life.

I have stage five chronic kidney disease and am currently on the transplant list, hoping and praying for a donor. My blood type is A+, which means I can receive a kidney from any blood type thanks to advances in paired donation programs.

I’m humbly asking for help—whether it’s sharing my story, helping with the financial burden of this journey, or considering kidney donation. Your kindness means more than words can express.
