URGENT: Koda Needs Immediate Rescue
Koda is running out of time and needs your help immediately.
Koda and his sister were recently surrendered to the local shelter through no fault of their own, due to a change in their family’s living situation. Suddenly uprooted from the only home he’d known for many years, Koda was scared & confused. During intake, Koda clearly communicated signs of fear and stress and did not want to be handled but as a handler attempted to muzzle him, Koda reacted out of fear and bit. Thankfully, wearing a thick jacket the injury was minor. Despite this, the shelter plans to euthanize him citing “body-handling sensitivity.”
Having been in the shelter before, Volunteers remember Koda from 2021 as a gentle and slightly reserved but good dog. While in quarantine, he is still showing that same sweet temperament and he shouldn’t lose his life for being scared. Koda is eight years old and deserves a second chance.
To give him that, he needs to leave the shelter immediately and enter rescue care. We heard from a non-profit rescue that can take Koda if donations can be raised for housing, food, medical care, training support, and transportation. That’s where you come in.
Every dollar donated will go directly toward ensuring Koda’s safety, care, and future.
Please help us give Koda the chance he deserves — a chance to live, heal, and to find another home for the time he has left.
Please donate or share to help save Koda’s life. Thank you!!!
