Hi my name is Shayla and this is kitty Cain! He is a Siamese cat and unfortunately they are prone to many different eye issues. Kitty Cain has had eye issues where he was having eye discharge and his eyes were irritated. My family took him to the vet and found out that he has what I believe is called ectropion which is where the eyelid flips and rubs against the eye, it’s a genetic condition usually seen in dogs but in his case it’s more severe. We were told that his eye problem would get worse and develop into total blindness. When my family took him they didn’t have enough money and never took him back. Now I’m the one taking care of him and I’d like to get his eyes fixed but I don’t have the funds since I’m in school. I’m hoping we can get help to fix my poor kitties eyes :(
