Feline Aid - Urgent kitten fundraiser

Every year all cat rescues see an influx of kittens: some come with their mummy, others are abandoned alone.

This year we and other rescues have been overwhelmed with the amount of abandoned kittens. So far we have rescued and have volunteers caring for 90 kittens. The majority of which have been bottle fed and had 24/7 care to ensure they can grow into healthy, young cats.

Unfortunately there are costs associated with this. Every kitten we rescue requires a check up at the vet, and usually some form of treatment such as antibiotics or antiparasitic medications. We have also had poorly kittens that needed some more involved vet care.

In addition this are the ongoing costs of any animal. Most of the kittens are still too small to eat solid food, therefore we need to buy kitten milk. Then cat litter, flea treatment, worming treatment etc.. The list goes on.

All funds raised will go towards the ongoing care of the 90 kittens we currently have, although there is a good chance we will end up with a few more. We don't want to see any animal suffer and these abandoned babies are more vulnerable than most.
