Hello everyone. I have an urgent update regarding the fundraiser to help me and my mother during our eviction. As of October 22nd, we have been officially evicted from our apartment (we tried to delay it for as long as possible with the help of a judge). As a result, we have been spending the past few weeks in a hotel room.

While we were initially able to stay afloat thanks to kind offerings of money from my father and sister, we can also only ask for help so many times, and as such, our luck is beginning to run low. There are two reasons:

1. Due to the disruption of SNAP benefits, we did not get ours, which are crucial for keeping us fed especially during a time as difficult as this.

2. Hotels won't let you stay long-term, so we have to leave on Thursday and check into a new one that is far more expensive.

In total, we need $300 to afford the hotel, and $200 for food: altogether, that is $500 we are in need of. I do acknowledge that not everyone has the funds to achieve the goal, but even the smallest of contributions to help us would be appreciated.
