I’m raising money for my twin Kae’s top surgery expenses. They were very much not anticipating the high costs that were predicted just days before the surgery (we assume it likely has to do with the Trump administration and the attacks currently) , and do not currently have the expenses to pay upfront. Their appointment is the 12th so we will need to raise these funds (the $7000 would cover it) by then, so it’s an emergency situation. As their identical twin, I have seen them grow into their being and spirit so much these few years and it has been truly beautiful. Despite the horrors of the world and the attacks on trans people now, they have been living in such alignment with who they are and it’s had tremendous effects on their quality of life and mental health. They’ve been looking forward to this surgery for years now, so it’s just so awful that the high costs were given so incredibly last minute.
