Hello everyone!

My name is John Yost. I live in North County San Diego, and I desperately need your help.

Several years ago, I became afflicted with multiple sclerosis. It took a heavy toll, wiping out my savings and making me unable to work.

A few years ago, I was days from being out on the street. I was fortunate to have several very good friends who loaned me the funds to survive until my Social Security disability money came in. It did, and I paid every cent back.

Unfortunately, SSD only covers rent for my studio and food. It does not cover my utilities, clothing, or (embarrassingly) my sanitary wear.

I was also recently hospitalized with fluid in my lungs, and that (once again) wiped out my savings.

Now, I was blessed to have a loving fiancee (now wife!) who is taking care of me, and she will soon be paid to do so through the government's IHSS program. Not a lot, but enough to get by.

Her application won't clear for a few months, though, and we are again on the verge of homelessness.

I hate to trouble my friends who have done so much for me. I wish my body hadn't forced me into this situation. All I can say is, any help you can give would mean the world to us. If we can meet our GoFundMe goals, then we will make it through this hard time.
