Bryan has a brain injury and is in ICU. I'm Jenn's mom, Lisa, and I'm starting this fundraiser because they could really use our help right now. Jenn & Bryan and their daughter, Scarlett, love roller skating, and they go every Thursday night as a family. On September 15, Bryan fell and hit his head while skating. He is currently in ICU and is expected to remain there for the next two weeks or so. Only time will tell the extent of his injury and the long-term effect it will bring to him and his family. Currently, Bryan is diagnosed with a traumatic brain shear injury. He has several bleeds in his frontal lobe and swelling. The Dr says the CT scans are concerning, but they are optimistic. For the foreseeable future, they will be looking for any changes in his mental status and doing frequent scans. He cannot have any pain meds at this time because they can affect mental changes. He is lethargic and isn't interested in talking much right now. He has a basic understanding of what happened and why is in the hospital. He seems to be in quite a bit of pain. He is finally allowed to have some liquids. I will update his condition as things change.

All of this means that both Jennie and Bryan will be out of work for a while. While he does have health insurance, the deductible is large. There is so much on their shoulders now, and if we could help ease their financial burden a little bit, it would mean so much.
