Hi, I am calling out to all animal lovers!! This black cat started coming around my house often so I started feeding her recently and noticed 2 days ago that she either got hit by a car or caught on something and now has a broken tail. There is a large patch of fur missing as well as layers of skin and very red/bloody as you can see in the photo (I tried to get as clear of a photo as possible but you can very clearly see an open wound). The tail drags and lays limp and she has no use of it. I am also suspecting that she is possibly pregnant because she eats 10 cans of cat food a day which is adding up financially but I do not have the heart to make her starve in the freezing weather when I know the warm food is helping her survive. I am trapping her to bring her to my vet who believes we will need to amputate her tail. She is in a lot of pain and the frigid temperatures make it much worse for her. I am doing everything possible to keep her comfortable, as well as giving her antibiotics to heal any infection in her tail. Any donation is greatly appreciated - no amount is too big or small!
