Urgent Humanitarian Relief for Vulnerable People

Donation protected
in 2026, 303 million people are facing a humanitarian crisis. They are in urgent need of relief.

Your previous donations had an immense impact. Your responsiveness to the concerns of the poor and sharing our commitment to serving those in need has increased our global influence and our growing impact as human rights champions. Over two million people around the world have benefited from PVA up to 2025. But, as the number of those in need continues to increase so does our need for your support – and there’s more to do.

Ten years ago, in 2016, 130 million people were in need of humanitarian aid. Today, in 2026, that figure has reached an all time high of 303 million people. And yet funding has plummeted.

Right now, millions of people caught in conflict and disaster face their hardest test yet: survival. Nearly half of all deaths among children under five are caused by hunger! They are in urgent need of humanitarian help.

Why your support matters now?
As global stability erodes, humanitarian crises grow — and those crises fuel the very instability that affects us all: mass displacement, pandemics, conflict.

But this isn't just a story of crisis. It's a story of what we can still choose to do. This can change — if we choose solidarity over indifference.

Your support is making a real difference. Donate today to help save lives in 2026.

In 2026, PVA will continue to demonstrate its unique ability to expand and contract, anticipating a crisis and adapting to ensure that life-saving assistance reaches people in need. Detail how funds will be used - PVA efforts made possible by donations will focus on the following key sectors:

1) Bridging gaps in food security and nutrition:
People facing acute food insecurity will receive time-sensitive food aid and cash assistance. At the same time, families will receive emergency agriculture and livelihood support, enabling them to produce their own food.

2) Inclusive health care:
Faced with a continuing and complex health crisis, humanitarian partners will work on all fronts to respond to pandemics and ensure the maintenance of essential health services. PVA will continue supporting health facilities in rural areas with infrastructure construction and rehabilitation. In addition to distributing free medicines to vulnerable families.

3) Education and Child Protection:
PVA will address three distinct goals: (1) Equitable access to learning opportunities; (2) Improved learning and skills for all; and (3) Improved learning and protection for children. PVA will also focus on specific outreach activities that will be tailored to the different needs of the target groups, including establishing/strengthening community-based child protection and GBV networks and focal points.

4) Multisectoral humanitarian assistance:
Basic non-food items, winterization assistance, safe water, sanitation and hygiene, shelter provision Housing reconstruction, and supporting young entrepreneurs.

5) Safe, coordinated, and efficient response:
Humanitarian operations depend on a range of coordination and support services to identify, access, and help crisis-affected people, including in hard-to-reach areas. Efficient communication and transportation are critical to ensuring humanitarian safety, enabling security and medical evacuations, and connecting humanitarians when no other reliable systems are available.

6) Multisectoral support to refugees:
PVA will provide key services to support refugees and migrants.

7) Advocate:
Cooperate and coordinate international action for worldwide protection of human rights, United Nations 2030 Agenda and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Committed to, guided, and based on the United Nations Conventions.

Humanitarian partners are rapidly ramping up efforts to provide life-saving assistance. Together we are committed to action. You can help too.

PVA's emergency response and its humanitarian operations are at risk. Your donation, no matter the amount, can make a difference.

All donations will go directly and in full to PVA's most urgent life-saving projects and programs.

With gratitude.
