I'm reaching out in hopes that someone will be able to help us find a place to live.
My husband Mario was run over by a car twice. The first on Sept 2 in which he sustained 3 fractures in left leg, while still healing from that injury he was run over by another car on Thanksgiving night Nov 28. From the second incident he sustained major brain trauma and a fractured right leg. Doctors performed brain surgery and inserted a metal rod from his knee to ankle. He currently cannot walk and his mind is very confused and not in the present time. Doctors say he may never recover from the brain injury. I have weeks to find someplace to live, so I can care for him because he cannot care for himself nor is he aware of his surroundings. My daughter will be helping me so we need at least an affordable 2 bedroom apartment for all of us or a converted garage or back house with a bedroom, living room, bathroom and kitchen. The place will also need to be dog friendly. We don't have a lot of money to pay high rent and I'm desperate. If you know anyone who owns or manages rental property that can help us out please let me know "ASAP." I'm not one to ask for help, but I cannot find any other way. I'm struggling financially. This is the last thing I would ever want to do, but I have no other options. I have asked for help from the church and various agencies to no avail. I am in desperate need of help.
