Hello my friends and community, I’m asking for help because I’ve run out of options.
I’ve been out of work for 8 months and despite actively applying and interviewing, I haven’t been able to secure a job yet. My partner is working, but it’s not enough to cover our basic expenses anymore.
We are at the point where we can’t fully cover rent this month, and we won’t be able to cover utilities or next month’s rent without help. We’ve cut expenses as much as possible, and we’re already using SNAP and local food banks, but it’s not enough to cover rent and utilities.
I’m raising $2,320 to cover:
- Rent: $1,650/month
- Utilities (electric + internet): ~$160/month
- Basic groceries: ~$400/month
I’m continuing to apply for jobs daily and working to get back on stable footing as quickly as possible. This is a temporary situation, and the goal is to get through the next 30–60 days. Any amount helps. If you’re not able to donate, sharing this would mean a lot.
