URGENT: Help Us secure housing for our children

Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,

For nearly a decade, we’ve proudly served as the onsite property managers at Ole Cedar Mill Mini Storage in North Bend, where we raised our two children and became part of this wonderful community. On October 3rd, we were unexpectedly let go and asked to vacate our home by October 31st.

Our immediate priority is to secure stable housing for our children, Logan and Althea, and keep them in their current school district. Logan has been a part of this community since the 2nd grade and is active in the Mt Si High music program. Althea just started Kindergarten, and maintaining their routine is crucial during this challenging time.

With limited resources and time, we’ve decided that downsizing to an RV is our best option. We’ve found a potential RV parking location in North Bend, keeping us close to their schools and friends. However, we lack financing options for an RV and humbly ask our community for your help.

We are asking for your support to raise funds for an RV to avoid uprooting our family. An RV would allow us to get a roof over our heads, keep the kids in school, while we figure out our next steps, what our new employment will be - and where we'll ultimately land.

28 days is very little time to pack up a house with over 7 years of memories.

I was pregnant with Althea in this house, she took her 1st steps here- we made this house a home.

And though it saddens us to say goodbye- we're hoping this means something even bigger and better is in store for us.

Every contribution, no matter how small, will help us create a safe, stable home for our children and keep them connected to their community.

We plan to use the funds to obtain an RV that will get us through winter comfortably.

As well as for packing and moving supplies, dump runs and - ironically - storage.
