Help Us Rebuild Our Indoor Arena – A Lifeline for Veterans, Families & Animals
Today, during extreme high winds, our indoor arena at Dare to Dream Ranch suffered a catastrophic collapse. I was inside the arena when the winds slammed into the ceiling with such force it felt as if a truck had hit the building. The ceiling and frame gave way. By sheer grace, I was able to escape without injury—but the structure itself is severely damaged.
Unfortunately, our insurance company has informed us that this loss is not covered.
This indoor arena is not just a building. It is a critical lifeline for everything we do.
We rely on this space to:
Provide safe shelter for our animals
Conduct equine therapy and recreation sessions for veterans and their families
Host our military kids camps
Train psychiatric service dogs that support veterans with PTSD, anxiety, and depression
Because of the damage, we have been forced to cancel our service dog training classes and halt several therapy and youth programs until repairs can be made.
This has been heartbreaking—for us, for the veterans who depend on these services, and for the animals who rely on this shelter.
Dare to Dream Ranch was built on the belief that healing happens through connection—with animals, with nature, and with community. Right now, we are devastated, but we are also determined to rebuild and continue serving those who have already given so much for our country.
We are asking for help to repair and replace the damaged structure so we can:
Restore safe shelter for our animals
Resume therapy programs for veterans and families
Reopen camps and training programs that change lives
Any donation—large or small—will make a difference. If you are unable to give, please consider sharing this fundraiser.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with us during this difficult time.
With gratitude,
