Urgent Help Uche Support His Newborn Twins After Tragic Loss

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Sarah Poore and I train teachers at University of Brighton. I would like to tell you about what has happened to one of my trainee physics teachers. His name is Uche and he is with us doing a PGCE. He took an opportunity to come to England to train to be a science teacher and support his family and has been missing his family back in Nigeria. He is a fabulous man and well on his way to passing his PGCE and gaining QTS.

Last week his beautiful twins Mara and Kobi were born by emergency c-section. This should be a time of joyful celebration but tragically his beloved wife Judith developed complications after the birth and passed away on Sunday 12 April.

Uche is devastated and has been left with his lovely girls aged 4 years, 2 years and of course the new twins. He has had to clear huge medical bills for the treatment of his wife and children which has wiped out his savings. He now faces significant financial challenges as he will need to hire a carer to help look after the children, buy formula and cover all of the babies' medical check ups.

He is determined to complete his PGCE - even more so now that he has to fund a carer and he has only taken 4 days off from his school training.

I am asking if you can find it in your heart (and wallet!) to gift some money, however little, to help Uche to pay for the care of his children so he can complete his PGCE and get qualified. He is highly thought of by everyone that has met him and by the schools where he has trained - we have great faith in him.

Every penny raised will go directly to buying formula and essentials for the babies and to pay the wages for the carer that will move into the family home to look after the children. Whatever you can give would be appreciated and a small sum will go quite a long way in Nigeria to look after this little beauties.
