Our hearts are heavy as we share this unexpected and devastating news. While visiting The Gambia from the United States, our beloved mother suffered a severe stroke. She is currently in a coma and receiving care, but her condition requires specialized medical treatment that is best provided in the U.S., where her doctors, medical history, and family support system are located.

Unfortunately, transporting her back to the United States requires an air ambulance, which is extremely costly and far beyond what our family can afford on our own. Every moment matters, and bringing her home gives her the best chance to receive the advanced care she urgently needs.
