Hi, my name is Ariane Moreno, and I’m fundraising for my husband, who was recently taken and is now being held at the Aurora ICE detention center in Colorado.

He was picked up while he was driving with me and our 2 year old son in the car. It was one of the most terrifying moments of our lives. Since that day, everything has changed for our family. He was not only our provider but also the heart of our home, a loving husband, a caring father, and someone who worked hard every day to give our kids a better future.

Now, our children (ages 5 and 2) don’t understand what’s happening. They often ask why their dad is gone and when he’s coming back. It breaks my heart to not have answers for them. I’m doing everything I can to stay strong for them while trying to handle the emotional and financial strain this has caused.

We are trying to raise money to help pay for a good immigration lawyer who can fight for his release and give us a chance to reunite our family. The costs are overwhelming attorney fees, the daily bills that keep coming while I care for our children alone.

This has been such a painful and stressful time, but I’m doing my best to stay hopeful and keep fighting for our family. Every donation, share, or kind message truly means the world to us. Your support will help us bring him home and give our children their dad back.
