I hoped not to be in this position again, but after having corporate client work fall through this month, the marketing team at a job I worked was let go unexpectedly right before the holidays. After leaving a difficult and unsafe living situation this past summer, thanks to the help of friends and family, and what I had saved, I was able to move. Keeping my housing which doubles as my workspace is of the utmost importance to me at this time for me and my cats. Especially after having been in an unsecured and stressful living situation for over a year and moving mostly myself over the course of a month.

Though I'm currently applying to jobs, the market is rough right now, as well as for freelance, and anything would be incredibly appreciated. This covers my rent and electric bill for the next 1.5 months so I can continue to stay housed while look for work and survive. Other than freelance, and part-time work I do have right now, I've been very suddenly put into a very difficult position as the year ends and I'm out of savings. It took everything, genuinely, to leave the situation I was living in, while fighting to receive back pay from unemployment, keeping my housing covered at the very least and myself and my cats warm + fed is my utmost priority right now.

Though I have some work, and, again looking for more, in the interim, with the sudden drop in income around the holidays, anything would mean the world.
