Hi, my position was eliminated at the end of June 2025, as a direct result of DOGE's actions and the current administration's policies. I have been diligently seeking a new job in my field (IT Systems Administration and Deployment Management) since that time and have received very few responses from the dozens of applications I've submitted. Due to this and a recent divorce settlement, I have no savings and am living on unemployment benefits, which will run out very soon.

Now I'm at the point where I must sell my house or risk foreclosure, and to get the house fixed up enough to maximize the selling price, I'm appealing for help to address the following items that need repairing:

1. Replace cedar shingles with new asphalt shingles - $6,000 - $7,000

2. Repair trim around windows and doors outside that have partial rotting - $1,800

3. Paint the entire house in a single color - $6,900

4. Stretch carpet and deep clean - $800

5. Storage Unit Rental @ 6 months - $500 - $1,000, depending on size

Total - approximately $16,750.

Any amount that you can contribute will go directly towards those expenses, particularly the first two. My goal is to have the house on the market by the end of February, so time is of the essence.
