Help Amber get a new home after her home sank

Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out on behalf of my friend who has just lost her home. A boat she lived on fulltime, after it began sinking unexpectedly. Her and her cat had to evacuate immediately and now has nowhere permanent to stay.

This boat wasn’t just a place to live, it was her sanctuary. After escaping an abusive ex-husband, she rebuilt her life on the water. Living on the boat gave her

freedom, independence, and peace. Now, that safe space is gone, and with it, the security she fought so hard to create.

She doesn’t have the funds to repair the boat, which is currently damaged and uninhabitable. The goal of this fundraiser is to help her cover immediate living expenses and raise enough money to fix the boat so she can return to the life she’s worked so hard to build.

Any contribution no matter how small will help her take a step toward stability and safety. If you’re not in a position to donate, sharing this with others would also mean so much.
