Hello, my name is Héctor Castro.

For over four years, I have been fighting advanced lung cancer. Today, I find myself in a critical situation and I am reaching out for help to keep moving forward.

This disease has not only taken a toll on my health but on every aspect of my life. I have undergone a lobectomy (the removal of part of my right lung) and suffered from radiation-induced pneumonitis, which has severely diminished my respiratory capacity.

Having faced two cancer recurrences, each stage of this journey has become increasingly difficult.

Breathing... Something that most people do without thinking—has become a constant, daily struggle for me.

Due to my condition, I am no longer able to work. I have done everything in my power to support myself over the years, but I have now exhausted my resources and am facing a very difficult financial situation.
