We are devastated to share the news that on March 1, 2023, Ruth Biles' son, Rasheed Biles, was tragically killed in Washington, DC. Rasheed was a beloved member of his community, and his sudden passing has left his family and friends in shock and grief. As his family and loved ones navigate this difficult time, we are reaching out to ask for your support in raising funds for expenses related to the investigation, his funeral, and the memorial.

We understand that this is a challenging time for everyone, but any donation, no matter how small, will go a long way in helping Rasheed's family during this difficult period. Our goal is to raise enough funds so his family can focus on grieving and honoring Rasheed's life.

Rasheed was a thoughtful and caring person. He never turned down a request for help. When he smiled his slightly crooked smile, it was contagious. His family often said he was a protector--looking out for those around him, especially family. He is survived by his mother, Ruth; his siblings, Le’shai, Nigel, Khilil, Omarie, and Brianna; and his girlfriend, Tania Frazier. Rasheed will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A memorial gathering to honor Rasheed's life will be held on March 18th, with the viewing from 10-11 and service from 11-12:30, at Thankful Baptist Church in Washington, DC.
