Urgent: help the Abed family stay alive.

Hi, my name is Judy Bruen, residing in Ann Arbor, and I am raising funds on behalf of Mohammed Abed, his siblings, and his parents.

Yes, they have a long list of accomplishments, but let’s cut to the chase. Does that really matter? How ridiculous is it that Palestinians currently have to raise funds to keep themselves alive while the rest of the world abandons them?

I have gotten to know this lovely family, and their strength and kindness go beyond most people I meet.

On more than one occasion, they have had to courageously move in silence, in the dark, amidst bombing, to get their baby nephew medical care. To keep him from dying.

I’ve seen firsthand the impact of a small donation. If you are unsure how to help Gazans as they face the terror unleashed upon them: this is it. Give money. Right now. I know times might be hard, but we have the luxury of assuming that we have more time to raise money and provide for ourselves.
