Hi, I'm Naomi and currently live in London, ON. My mom immigrated from Jamaica and most of our family on her side is still there. Recently, Jamaica underwent a category 5 hurricane which was the most devastating one that Jamaica has ever faced. Many still do not have access to food or clean drinking water, houses were destroyed or had the roof blown off, and some are facing flooding that continues from underground springs. Whatever devastation you've seen on social media or the news, it's 10x worse in person. One of my uncles lost his roof after a tree fell on it and several other family members had leaks or partial roof losses. A cousin also lost his roof and is still having flooding.

My family and others need help, more than what we can give. My fundraising has two goals: help my family repair their roofs, and gather critical supplies that will be distributed to those who need it such as dry food, baby formula, tarps, lights, water, insect repellent, tents, etc. Gathering these items costs beyond my family's ability. Any help, no matter how small will be sincerely appreciated. Generous donors have allowed us to drop off a trunkful of supplies, more donations will allow us to do even more. Thank you!
