My Name is Willi. I set this donation campaign to help my friend Shaimaa and her family from Gaza to save her and her family's life and to rebuild hope.

Shaimaa, 29 years old, studied Information and Journalism in Gaza University. I and my Family are still living in Gaza city. Before the 7th of October we had a beautiful life. Our home was our comfort and our escape and we had a well established life.

Shaimaa used to work as a volunteer in a charity organization to support families in need and was involved in many projects for helping people in refugee camps in Gaza.

The war changed their life completely. Their house was hit by a rocket and totally destroyed. Since then they were in a continuous run. Run from Rocket attacks, run to find a safe place and run to get water and food.

The worst thing what happened to us is that my Sick father Moeen 60 and mother Alamya 58 can not get their medication.

They are now homeless, experiencing an extremely tuff situation. They are suffering from Hunger, lack of safety, drinking water, electricity, internet. The life is turning to hell. Their biggest dream is to live in a healthy environment without epidemics and to be able to get medications for our parents. Mother Alamya needs hospitalization as for a longer period of time she did not receive medications. Both parents have Diabetes and high blood pressure and heart problems.

The interruption of mother`s treatment is causing her to gradually loose her eyesight.

The family is extremely helpless and desperate because they are watching their parents suffering with tied hands and without any means to fix the situation.

In the past Father had a catheterization procedure.

Despite his sickness during this war he is doing a great job and despite the lack of treatment and medication he is helping injured people, even under bombardment and bullets. He risks his own life to provide others with food, drinking water, and the basic necessities of life.

The war is an injustice and aggression against us the innocent people. Already in the last war on Gaza in 2014 their house was demolished, and they were not able to rebuild it until 2017. They rebuilt it to a very beautiful and warm house that was visited by strangers and relatives. All their good memories are connected with it.

The younger sister Shahad 14 years old is always scared of this war and of all atrocities that she witnesses. She lives in a continuous fear.

Sister`s Wardah 23 daughter was born with a bone defect and need continuous treatment.

When their house was bombarded they wanted to take a shelter in it, but the army had a different opinion. The army ordered them to evacuate the house at one o'clock in the morning. They left with only their clothes. They did not take anything with them. They just wanted to save their lives, and the occupation retargeted their house and destroyed it totally.

Witnessing this their hearts were broken of losing everything what they've worked for so hard. they lost in an instant their home, their livelihood and their peace. Sister Shahad suffers from hepatitis due to the polluted environment and the difficult living conditions that are not suitable for humans to live, as there is a lot of waste, rubble, and the bodies of citzens under the rubble. Pathological mosquitoes and mice are present everywhere.
