My name is Thalia, and I’m desperately asking for help to save my 7-year-old German Shepherd, Uzi.

A few days ago, Uzi accidentally swallowed a large piece of a towel while she was anxious and home alone. Since then, she’s been vomiting bits of it, refusing food, barely drinking water, and growing weaker by the hour. We rushed her to the vet and there are still large pieces of the towel stuck in her intestines. Without immediate emergency surgery, she will not survive.

The cost of the surgery is $8,500 — money we simply don’t have right now due to financial hardship. But Uzi is more than a pet to us… she’s family. She’s been by my side through everything, and I can’t imagine life without her.
