My name is Lauren, and I live in the United States. I am a relative of Fathi’s family, and I am managing this fundraiser on their behalf.
Like many people living in Gaza, the members of this family face significant obstacles in accessing international fundraising platforms and financial services. For this reason, I am collecting and transferring funds to help support them during this difficult time.
This fundraiser is for the family of Fathi and Yasmine and their children and grandchildren, who are currently living in Gaza.
Fathi is a retired engineer and suffers from heart disease as well as other chronic health conditions that require ongoing medical care. Yasmine also lives with chronic health problems and needs regular medication and treatment.
Their family includes five adult children and several grandchildren. Before the war, they lived ordinary lives. They worked, studied, raised their children, and planned for the future. Today, they are focused on meeting basic daily needs and protecting their families in circumstances that have become increasingly difficult.
Several members of the family have medical needs, and there are young children who depend on access to adequate food, clean water, and healthcare. The rising cost and limited availability of essential goods have made daily life an ongoing struggle.
The purpose of this fundraiser is to help the family obtain food, clean water, medicine, medical care, clothing, shelter, and other necessities. If opportunities for relocation or temporary housing become available in the future, part of the funds may also be used to support those expenses.
Every donation will be used to help the family meet essential needs and will be transferred through available legal channels.
I know that many people are asked to donate every day, and I am grateful that you have taken the time to read this story. Whether you choose to donate or simply share this fundraiser, your support means a great deal to a family that is doing its best to endure extremely difficult circumstances.
Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and solidarity.
