A Home for Animals, a Place of Healing, a Legacy of Love. I first met Laurie Kuriplach at Riccardi Elementary School, where she was building a background set for an upcoming kids' play. Right away, I could tell that she was something special. Fun, kind, creative, giving, caring, and always willing to lend a hand.
For over 35 years, Laurie has lived on a small farm that has become more than just a piece of land, it's a sanctuary. A place of peace, healing, and comfort not only for her children and rescued animals but for the entire community around her.
Laurie has poured her heart into caring for others. She's opened her home to countless animals in need, offering them love, shelter, and a second chance. She raised her children with resilience and compassion, making sure they all graduated high school despite some of life's most difficult challenges.
But now, Laurie is facing her hardest battle yet: saving her home. After her ex-husband walked away, leaving behind a mountain of debt unbeknownst to her, Laurie was left to carry the burden alone. She has fought through the pain, fears, stress, sleepless nights and never once giving up or stopped working to make things right again. But the weight has become too much.
Now this peaceful homeland is about to be taken from Laurie, her children, and their animals, with no safe refuge to fall back on.
This farm is not just where she lives, it's her life's work, the heart of a healing space for animals and people alike.
We're asking for your help.
Every dollar raised will go directly toward saving Laurie's farm and allowing her to continue caring for the animals who depend on her. No donation is too small. Every single gift brings us closer to protecting this sanctuary and preserving the love, healing, and hope that Laurie has build over decades.
Let's come together as a community and make sure Laurie's farm and home remains a place of second chances, safety, and love for all generations to come.
From Laurie, and all of us who love her, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
