Urgent: Help Robert Save His Father's Eyesight
Donation protected
Hi friends,
Robert, a friend of mine who is living under the harsh government of Venezuela, needs to raise money for his father’s surgery. The financial and political situation in Venezuela is difficult at best, many families making only $150 a month. Robert’s dad urgently needs corrective eye surgery in the next few weeks because three months ago, he had his first eye surgery and the doctors unfortunately created even more damage. A second surgery needs to happen in the next few weeks to avoid serious complications. Waiting any longer could be very dangerous.
The surgery costs $6,000, plus after care and the money lost from his father being out of work. They’ve been doing everything they can to gather the money. So far, they have $500, but they are still short.
Robert and his family have been cutting back on essentials, even on food, to save as much as possible. It’s been a tough time for them, and on top of everything, his father has been unwell for the past few weeks, which has made it even harder to manage everything.
They are feeling really scared and overwhelmed. His dad’s health means the world to him and his family and he deserves to have working, healthy eyes. If you can help in any way, even with the smallest amount, it would mean so much.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and support.
