I am writing to you with a heavy heart and a plea for urgent assistance. My dear friend Nabil is currently trapped in Egypt while his family is enduring the devastating effects of an ongoing genocide in Gaza. The situation is dire, and we are desperately seeking help to bring his family to safety.

THIS IS NABIL’S MESSAGE

I am Nabil from Gaza. I got married on 09/19/2023 and traveled to Egypt a week later for our honeymoon. Unfortunately, I couldn't complete the full month of the honeymoon because a war broke out in Gaza while I was in Egypt. I tried to return to be with my family and friends, but the border crossing was bombed, and we were prevented from entering Gaza due to the situation. I had to stay at my wife's relatives' house in Egypt, while my family in Gaza faced the war and had to evacuate their partially destroyed house and live in tents for two months. We even had to stay in our car until we rented an unfinished house on the Egyptian border in Rafah.

They tried to make it suitable for living by using wood and nylon to cover it, but their money started running out. I tried to send them money from my work, but the duration became long, and I couldn't afford the high expenses anymore. Now, I want to bring them to Egypt and provide them with a safe haven. However, travel can only be done through coordination between the Egyptian and Palestinian authorities, and the coordination fees are high. I can't afford to pay $6000 for each person, considering that my mother and three sisters need to travel. This means I need $24000 to be able to bring them to Egypt and save them from danger.

I have never traveled or been away from my mother and sisters for a single day in my entire life. Now, I have been away from them for more than four months, and they are in danger. I have no solution except to bring them here and raise money from this platform.

Currently, there is no source of income for the family except me. It is worth mentioning that I have also lost my job, and I am currently working day and night to provide for my family's living expenses.

My sisters have lost their future. I have three sisters, two of whom used to work online and lost everything now.

My younger sister is at the beginning of her life. She was supposed to start university after excelling in high school. She had a bright future and was taking her first steps towards it.

But the occupation has stolen everything from us.

My only chance now is to evacuate my family from the war and see them. They have no one but me, and I have no one but them.

Our goal with this GoFundMe campaign is to raise enough funds to facilitate the safe passage and relocation of Nabil's family out of Gaza to a place of safety in Egypt from Rafah bordering. The funds will be used for essential expenses such as travel costs, legal assistance, documentation fees, housing, food, clothing, and necessities. Every dollar donated will make a significant impact and give hope to a family in desperate need.

أنا نبيل من غزة. تزوجت في 19/9/2023 وسافرت إلى مصر بعد أسبوع لقضاء شهر العسل. للأسف، لم أتمكن من إتمام شهر العسل بالكامل بسبب اندلاع الحرب في غزة بينما كنت في مصر. حاولت العودة لكي أكون مع عائلتي وأصدقائي، لكن المعبر الحدودي تعرض للقصف وتم منعنا من الدخول إلى غزة بسبب الظروف. اضطررت للإقامة في منزل أقارب زوجتي في مصر، بينما كانت عائلتي في غزة تواجه الحرب وتضطر لإخلاء منزلهم المدمر جزئيًا والعيش في خيام لمدة شهرين. حتى اضطررنا أن نعيش في سيارتنا حتى استأجرنا منزلاً غير مشطب على الحدود المصرية في رفح.

حاولوا تجهيز المنزل للسكن من خلال استخدام الخشب والنايلون، ولكن المال بدأ ينفد. حاولت أن أرسل المال من عملي لكن المدة طالت ولم أعد قادرًا على تحمل المصاريف العالية. الآن، أرغب في إخراج عائلتي وإيصالهم إلى مصر وتوفير مأوى آمن لهم. ولكن السفر يتطلب تنسيقًا بين الجهات المصرية والفلسطينية، وتكاليف التنسيقات مرتفعة. لا أستطيع تحمل دفع 6000 دولار لكل فرد، خاصةً أن أمي وثلاثة أخوات يحتاجن للسفر. هذا يعني أنني بحاجة إلى 24000 دولار لكي أتمكن من إخراجهم إلى مصر وإنقاذهم من الخطر.

لم أسافر أو أبتعد عن أمي وأخواتي ليوم واحد في حياتي بأكملها. الآن، مرت أكثر من أربعة أشهر وأنا بعيد عنهم وهم في خطر. ليس لدي سوى حل واحد وهو إخراجهم وتجميع الأموال من خلال هذه المنصة.

حاليًا، لا يوجد مصدر دخل للعائلة سوى أنا. يجدر بالذكر أنني فقدت أيضًا وظيفتي وأعمل الآن ليلاً ونهارًا من أجل توفير مصروفات المعيشة لعائلتي ولي.

خسرت أخواتي مستقبلهم. لدي ثلاثة أخوات، اثنتان منهن كن يعملن عبر الإنترنت وفقدن كل شيء الآن.

أختي الصغيرة في بداية حياتها. كان من المفترض أن تبدأ الجامعة بعد أن حققت نجاحًا كبيرًا في الثانوية العامة. كان لديها مستقبل واعد وكانت تخطو خطواتها الأولى نحو تحقيقه.

ولكن الاحتلال سرق كل شيء منا.
