Hi everyone!!

We are urgently raising funds to help Niah (Nye <3) recover their car after it was broken into last week.

Their rear window was smashed and the ignition was severely damaged from attempted theft. The car was left undrivable and thankfully we have been able to get it to a mechanic. However, we still need support to cover the deductible required to recover the car back from the shop. We are trying to raise $750 as soon as we can so they can get back on the road.

Niah is an active participant in community building within LA and uses this car to facilitate mutual aid distribution as well as for essential transportation as a disabled person. The car had been lent to a comrade in need at the time of the break in. Their ability to move through their daily life and continue their work is impacted without their car. This is life sustaining work and we need to take turns to show up for each other in moments such as this.
